Afternoon
Firsthand: Freestyle
[ Trails Open: All, Good skis ]
Skate deck was firm and fast after the fresh grooming of new snow and ice crystals. The little that I used the classic track it was hard and fast.

Afternoon
Firsthand: Freestyle Secondhand
[ Trails Open: All, Good skis ]
The trails were being groomed as I was out on the trails. Talked to the groomer and he intended to groom and track all the trails today. The new grooming was a little soft in places but will set up nice overnight. The skate lane was fast with the mixing of new snow and ice crystals together.

Afternoon
Firsthand: Freestyle
[ Trails Open: All, Good skis ]
Yesterdays glazed icy trails were covered with 1 to 1 1/2 in. of fresh new snow that had just enough moisture in it to adhere to the glazed surface. This made for a great afternoon of skate skiing. Great glide, not too deep, and very stable. The classic track was mostly gone, covered by the new snow.

Afternoon
Firsthand: Freestyle
[ Trails Open: All, Good skis ]
After the melt down most of the trails have become glazed. Sections out in the sun are icy. Most areas are still skiable. Some are more challenging. A few well sheltered areas are still OK. Classic track in protected areas is still there and almost gone in the sunny areas.

Afternoon
Firsthand: Freestyle
[ Trails Open: All, Good skis ]
The skate lane was freshly groomed and skied very well. The classic tracks on the sections I skied ranged from good in most areas to fair to poor in a few areas.

Morning
Firsthand: Freestyle
[ Trails Open: All, Good skis ]
Additional accumulation and/or drift of about an inch over firm skate deck, however in places more and in others you can still see corduroy. Classic tracks this morning were relatively shallow as they are partial fill with the new/blown snow. I found it a little faster than yesterday but still not super fast.

Morning
Firsthand: Freestyle
[ Trails Open: All, Good skis ]
I didn't have high expectations as we've had hellacious winds out here, but the newly groomed trails – pristine actually – showed few signs of significant drifting. I did not ski Finland, Deep Woods, or the far western portion of the main trail. However, where I did ski the skate deck was firm and reasonably fast given the snow temperature. Classical tracks are visible, but somewhat filled with blown powder. Surprisingly I didn't encounter many leaves or sticks on the trails I skied.

Afternoon
Firsthand: Freestyle
[ Trails Open: Most, Good skis ]
Trails are very much the same as yesterday except the first two to three blocks have become wind glazed and drifted making it very challenging to get to the shortcuts or flats.

Afternoon
Firsthand: Freestyle
[ Trails Open: Most, Good skis ]
With the new blowing and drifting snow the perfect conditions of yesterday are gone. Finland loop is not skiable. The NE outside loop is not skiable. The three shortcuts and the flats along the swamp are lightly covered with the new blown snow ( All skiable but slow ). The classic track was lightly filled with the new drifted snow. Did not ski Deep woods or the west side.
