PistenBully out with the volunteer groomers last night setting track and skate lanes. With the freezing nights trails are hardening and ready to go in the morning as temps rise. Grooming will continue as conditions hold. Fat bike trail head is at Snow Summit Drive, off of Powderhorn Rd.

Amazing conditions with firm and fast skate deck and tracks. It looks like the PistenBully was out for the first time this season, and conditions are ideal. Nothing to complain about here. Classic or skating, things are the best they can be! Should be a great weekend!

Skate and classic skied the Powderhorn and Wolverine loops. Conditions were near excellent with well packed snow on the skate lane and deep tracks for classic skiing. Very well groomed. Skied the last part of the Wolverine loop (west of the hospital) just as the sun was setting; beautiful!

Busy day at Wolverine. The classic tracks were in excellent shape. So good to see the Roseville MN ski team back again having a fun training day with their coaches. A large group of fat bikers took to the Snow Summit bike trailhead. The chalet was warm and welcoming.

Grooming
[ Trails Open: All, Good skis ]
Ski trails were freshly groomed and track set this morning. Conditions are excellent plus. Skate deck a bit soft. Grooming will continue daily through holiday week. A lot of folks out enjoying their Christmas ski equipment. Snow bike trail head access at Snow Summit Drive. Riding was a bit challenging today because of excess snow on top of packed bike trail.

Second time for me at Wolverine this season. The track was in excellent shape and skate lane firm. Enjoyed the snow laden trees and warm chalet and home made cookies . Not only are the volunteers skilled groomers but also talented bakers!
