Grooming
[ Trails Open: All, Good skis ]
Single temps last night. Groomers did not go out today. Groomers may head out tomorrow but are watching the weather to come. Skate lane was solid and classic tracks were great on the less skied trails. Even with the sun and temps in the low 20's, tracks were icy. Families were enjoying the trails during spring break.

Grooming
[ Trails Open: All, Good skis ]
Single digit temps last night made grooming for the skate deck perfect. Tracks were reset but not real deep as it would have made for icy conditions. Sunshine and 14° did not keep folks away.

Had a great afternoon skiing novice trail. From the overnight snow, the tracks and skate deck were not icy. 20° and warm sun. Tolerable wind chill. Talked with another skier who drove from Chicago to catch some spring snow.

Morning
Grooming
[ Trails Open: All, Good skis ]
With the new snow and colder temperatures the groomers were able to cleanup the skate lane and set the tracks. The wind might cause some drifting but the trails are firm and ready to go. They plan to go out again tomorrow morning with the Pisten Bully.

The groomers had been out and groomed the Novice and Wolverine Loop while I was there. New tracks were fast and the skate lane looked good. We have received about 4 inches of new snow. It is wetter and we had some rain yesterday but the trails are in great shape with a lot of base. Spring skiing should be excellent this weekend.

All trails were groomed this morning after 4" of new snow overnight. Skate deck was soft. Striding was great with solid track walls. Temps got to 30° . Lots of folks out. It was reported from Madison skiers that Skinny Ski is the go to site to chase where the snow is for a long weekend.

Never skied here before, what a great place! Lots of climbs and good downhills. Open hardwood forest was great for views. Beautiful warming house. Trails are marked very well with excellent maps. Glad I checked it out. They were grooming as I was skiing so lots of virgin corduroy for me.
