The groomers were out early this morning using the Pistenbully. Classic lanes have solid edges and skate lanes looking great. Trails are in almost perfect conditions. Chalet open.

[ Good skis ]
Very fast conditions early this morning, then excellent grooming throughout slowed it down a bit, but made for good control. A warm day with good glide (we ironed in a Toko yellow with structure added).

Wolverine was cold, windy and beautiful today. Skate deck was narrow in places and very soft (pole tips fall through here and there). It was a soft deck today but it's all groomed and there's a lot of snow out there!

Grooming
[ Trails Open: All, Good skis ]
Groomers have been working tirelessly with the 28 inches of light fluffy snow. Two machines out putting six plus hours daily packing and grooming all trails. Pisten Bully doing its heavy job. These are volunteer groomers and we thank them with heartfelt gratitude. The tracks are great and corduroy looking good with some softness. Pole plants on outside track are possible. Grooming will continue daily. Chalet open and cozy.

Skated with my son in the Burley today. Great conditions for skating. Definitely firmed up from a week ago and the snow started coming down again as I finished. Mid season conditions already and looks to become even better. Kudos to the groomers!

Firsthand: Both
[ Trails Open: All, Good skis ]
Conditions were very good to excellent. Occasionally the classic tracks fell apart, and the snow in general is a little soft. But, really good coverage, virtually zero debris or hazards - it's really mid winter conditions. Slightly firmer and it'd be excellent. 100% appropriate to use your best skis.

Great condition at wolverine. The groomers have been hard at work getting the trails ready for the season. Good classic tracks and a firm skate deck with no dirt or rocks showing.

Afternoon
Firsthand: Classic Observation
[ Trails Open: Most, B skis ]
Wolverine trails are in fair condition with a packed base, no grooming yet. There are very few bare spots, and the packed 3-6 inch base is quiet clean. The new snow should only improve things. Grooming has been off to a slow start doing due to an unanticipated delay in the arrival of the new John Deere Gator. Thank you for your continued support.
