Trail Reports

2022-2023 season
Reports 43 to 45 of 45    Month: Apr | Mar | Feb | Jan | Dec | Nov | Oct

Afternoon
Firsthand: Classic Observation
[ Trails Open: Most, B skis ]
Wolverine trails are in fair condition with a packed base, no grooming yet. There are very few bare spots, and the packed 3-6 inch base is quiet clean. The new snow should only improve things. Grooming has been off to a slow start doing due to an unanticipated delay in the arrival of the new John Deere Gator. Thank you for your continued support.

Afternoon
Observation
[ Trails: Closed ]
Thank you for being patient as we await the arrival of a new gator and can resume normal grooming operations. We did not anticipate this late arrival as the gator was scheduled to arrive October 1. For those wondering, Wolverine is not grooming yet, but we hope that can change soon. There is plenty of snow, 28 inches plus waiting to be manicured. Stay tuned.

Morning
Observation
[ Trails Open: Partial, Rock skis ]
Almost knee deep at Wolverine! The snow continues to fall. Branches are heavily loaded so please beware of falling limbs. All trails are open except the tail end of Wolverine loop and the Novice loop. No grooming yet. Too soft and wet. Folks may ski track in and hike the open trails. We received 10-12 inches of wet heavy snow. Please respect these seasonal closures on private land while you enjoy the first taste of winter.
