A beautiful, challenging system of loops located about 17 miles east of Hayward. Trails are for intermediate to advanced skill levels and offer a great "in the woods" skiing experience.Trail Reports

All but the 13.6K loops were groomed. Lots of debris from fallen snow, which covered about 25% of the 7k loop. Skied on the classic tracks. Skate skiing available, but looked less maintained.

Grooming [ Trails Open: Most, ]

Mukwonago has several feet of snow now. Crews worked very hard to remove trees and brush from the trail. We were able to groom the 2, 4, and 7 Km loops today. The tracks should set up very nicely. The skate deck is looking smooth but will be a little soft. There are a few branches out there also. The 13 Km loop has not been cleared or groomed yet. Happy Holidays!

Grooming [ Trails Open: Partial, ]

Well, the good news is that we got snow! The bad news is that it brought down many trees and was very wet and heavy. We worked all day today and only got the 2 Km loop cleared and rolled. If you want to help, you can ski or snowshoe the trail and knock snow off the hanging trees and throw sticks off the trails. We will do our best to get some loops open and groomed as soon as we can, but with the holidays we are short on staff. We'll post updates as we make progress!

Mukwonago received about 8 inches of snow last Tuesday. The 2k, 4K, and 7k loops were rolled. Once we get more snow, we'll groom and try and set track.
