Trails are soft and a icy due to the rain. There is a ski meet this afternoon between 3pm-6pm! Sections of the trail will be closed off for the race but is open to the public after the race is complete. [ Update: High school race has been cancelled -- Ed. ]

Grooming
[ Trails Open: All, Rock skis ]
The groomer started early this morning to repack and set tracks on the the trails. The trails are still icy and there is debris in some of the more heavily wooded sections. Trails are more in the fair/poor side but definitely use caution on the trails with the icier conditions on the hills.

I skied the trails Tuesday evening. The coverage is good and there is a solid track throughout the groomed sections of the course. Unfortunately, a vehicle drove up the initial climb from the parking lot on the south loop, which has caused substantial damage to the skate deck. There is also vehicle and boot damage at the top of that hill as well. I've been disappointed in the park's maintenance of the trails here this winter, especially considering Washington County asks skiers to purchase a Washington County specific ski pass.

The trails have all been packed and tracked. There is some light debris in the more wooded areas in the trail but overall good conditions!

While I agree that there is good snow coverage, the skate deck was consistently uneven and full of post holes from runners and walkers. Sad that the yellow loop isn't open at all. Here's hoping for another local XC option on the east side!

Great snow coverage on the trails here! All the trails along the perimeter are groomed. The trails near the visitor center are more firm than further out. A couple of the interior trails don't appear to have been groomed all winter. Debris in the usual spots in the wooded areas, it makes for a fun challenge to try avoiding the small sticks.

Conditions were excellent at the Ravine today. Skate deck was soft and slow - but in perfect condition.

Grooming
[ Trails Open: All, Good skis ]
Trails have all been groomed, both packed and tracked, this morning. There is some minor debris in spots, mostly in the heavily wooded areas, but things set up nicely and the trails are in good condition!

Grooming
[ Trails Open: All, Good skis ]
All the trails have been packed and rolled this morning and the new snow has really helped with reestablishing a good base. No tracks for now but still great conditions to get out on the trails!

Skied Ravine this morning. Grooming was ok for 2/3 of the main trail, but they didn't do anything to the return trail through the woods (after you go back up to the yellow orange from the red - so heading south). That part of the trail was crusty and icy. They've also closed the yellow inner loop and the side hill to get back up to the yellow orange - not sure why. They haven't done a good job grooming this park yet this year. Too bad because this is a wonderful place to ski! No tracks set.
