Trail Detail
Notes
About 17km total of trail loops near the St. Cloud penitentiary. Some scenic woods and great hills. Just a mile from the Mississippi, trails run on land that was formerly a farm and takes skiers through pastures, forests, and apple orchards. Trails are mostly easy to intermediate with a few challenging hills.Trail Reports

All praise to the groomers! North Loop awesome for both classical or skate. Orchard, Hill Top, Warm up for skate. I talked to the groomer and he said he was going to do Baltos . . . get you and your dog out while it lasts.

At last, North Loop is groomed classic and skate and in great shape. Hilltop, Orchard, and Warm-up all rolled and compacted and should be groomed in the next few days.

North Loop only. Trails to the south (Orchard, Hill Top, etc) not open. Freshly groomed today. No classic track, and just enough snow for B skis. Rock skis could also be used. Thanks to the groomers.

Observation [ Trails: Closed ]

Checked the Greystone Trails today. Orchard, Hill Top had grass showing, just not enough snow. North Loop had some tracks from skiers, but clearly a rock ski situation.
