Notes

About 17km total of trail loops near the St. Cloud penitentiary. Some scenic woods and great hills. Just a mile from the Mississippi, trails run on land that was formerly a farm and takes skiers through pastures, forests, and apple orchards. Trails are mostly easy to intermediate with a few challenging hills.

Orchard and Warm-up loop were in good condition but got deep at some points. A quick groom and trails could be perfect!

Graystone is in excellent condition. Both skate and classic for Hilltop, Warm up and Orchard. Skate only on Baltos. The skate deck is firm and fast. Thanks to the groomers!

North Loop, Orchard and Warm up Freshly groomed. Track set for both classic and skate. Not sure of the status of Hill Top. We had 2 inches of fresh snow on Friday morning.

Had a fun ski on the North Loop. Recent grooming. Some leaves and a few places where the trail had flooded then froze. Many thanks to the volunteer groomers!

N. Loop groomed this morning for skate and classic. Orchard, Balto's and Warm Up groomed for skate. All in good shape. Baltos is the dog loop. So get out there with Fido and tear it up!

Skied most of the trails. Snow was a little soft, but that's what happens when it's abundant. No set classic tracks. Great skiing.

North loop and Greystone rolled. No track set yet. North loop has open water as the ground is not frozen yet, so there are some spots where it is very narrow.
