Skated from old 32 to Sullivan Springs and to the Golf Course without the big hills. I started about 8:30 so the snow was somewhat crusty initially. Old 32 to Sullivan Springs was firm and in excellent condition. The trail was not groomed past Sullivan Springs. Old 32 to the golf course especially after the McCauslin Brooke road crossing was softer and a little rough in spots, but great coverage. Overall, mid winter conditions. Thanks to the groomers for all their hard work. Lakewood has had a ton of snow since I was last there 2-3 weeks ago.

Unbelievably great conditions for this time of year. Skied all the groomed trails yesterday and today, from the golf course to Sullivan Springs Rd (see trail map); near perfect skate deck and classic tracks: 9.5 out of 10. There has been over 40" of snow here in the last 2 1/2 weeks, so much snow that they are still using the PistenBully to groom the trails. Many thanks to the groomers for their great efforts.

Absolutely terrific late season skiing at Lakewood today! The trip included bumping into and thanking the Beno's who are part of the ace groomer volunteers who make this wonderland tick. This area has received over 20" of snow since Birkie week which has now created a deck depth of about 10 inches. Everything south of Smythe Road has been groomed yesterday or today with the exception the hill section off the golf course. Enjoy. Carpe Skiem!

Grooming
[ Trails Open: All, Good skis ]
Groomed from the golf course parking lot to the Old 32 parking lot this morning. Made multiple passes to pack the deep new snow. Classic tracks set throughout this section. Beautiful to be in the woods today. Trail may be on the soft side due to the large amount of snow we were trying to groom in.
