This snow did the trails good! The snow packed nicely and the tracks should set up great overnight. Have fun out there, happy new years!

Snow is still quite thin after the warm weather and rain we got a few weeks ago. Especially under the evergreens it’s very thin. Groomed what was there so at least we will have a nice flat base moving forward into the middle of winter. Probably won’t be able to groom again until we get another 4-6 inches.

Around 1 foot of light fluffy snow fell on the Sturgeon River trail system on Sunday! The trails have been packed but not yet groomed. A partial trail closure remains in effect for this season.
