Wonderful new warming lodge that is open for night skiing. I arrived after 6 pm and the newest lit loop makes the whole woods seem lit up. The trail was firm and no track is set. Skiing was fairly fast and is very enjoyable. This is a truly hidden gem with a brand new lodge.

[ Trails Open: All, Good skis ]
Skate deck had full coverage and was firm with a tiny amount of fresh snow from last night. The conditions were fast and fun! Included a picture of new Behnke Olson Outdoor Building. There is also about 3k of lighted trails that turn on at dusk and stay on until about 9pm. New building is set up with after hours room which includes lockers, water fountain, bathroom and seating. The Portage County Parks Department has done a great job with the trails and new building!

The trails have been groomed and are in good condition. No track has been set due to low snow conditions. The Fat Tire Bike trails have also been packed and are in very good condition.

One and a half inches of new snow on top of a hard, flat base. The whole system skied very well. The new building was open and is very, nice. No problem using good skis. Oak leaves continue to come down but not a major issue.

Afternoon
Firsthand: Classic
[ Trails Open: Partial, Rock skis ]
Great to get out. Small loop open (I think it was 2 mile loop) with machine snow. No tracks set. Plenty of small debris on trail and some larger sticks/branches near the surface, with some thin spots that you can ski around.
