Morning
Grooming
[ Trails Open: Partial, B skis ]
Lots of debris due to yesterday's 50 mile an hour wind gusts. Used the Tidd Tech on the red to green to purple loop. Approximately 50% of the system is groomed. Grooming plan: Jeff is going to do the red and green this afternoon.

Afternoon
Grooming
[ Trails Open: Most, Rock skis ]
The grooming crew spent hours grinding ice today. The best trails are brown and red, but everything is icy. There is virtually no track left due to the meltdown.

Morning
Firsthand: Classic
[ Trails Open: All, Good skis ]
I classic skied the Purple trail today. Most of the tracks were in good condition with some thinner spots but no bare spots. There was very minimal debris on the tracks, just a few random leaves or pine needles but nothing that really got in the way. There were some spots throughout where the classic tracks were not well defined or mostly missing but there was still snow there so still skiable. I would say that was maybe only 5% of the trail. Overall still great conditions for skiing and well worth the drive.

Firsthand: Freestyle Grooming
[ Trails Open: All, B skis ]
All skate lanes were groomed again last night. I skated all loops this morning. The skate deck is hard and incredibly fast. Classic skiers I encountered were happy with the classic tracks. Inevitably there is more debris on all trails. Hopefully some snow soon.

Morning
Firsthand: Classic
[ Trails Open: All, B skis ]
Classic tracks on a majority of brown, purple, portions of red and portions of green that I skied were set and fast and firm in a majority of areas. Sweet job of grooming done on those classic track areas and on the skate deck. Skate deck seemed firm fast and full of corduroy. Another magical job done by the groomer! Thank you for your efforts this year!

Morning
Firsthand: Classic Grooming
[ Trails Open: All, B skis ]
All skate lanes were groomed this morning in single digit temps. I skied all areas after grooming. The snow is completely transformed and skate lanes well covered fast and firm. The classic track is glazed and fast and quite clean in most areas. The classic track ranges from excellent (about 50%) to nonexistent (10%). About 40% of track is glazed and fast but not very deep. No new track has been set since Saturday morning and it's holding up well. I have been using B skis for the past 4 weeks and have noticed no new dings in my ski bases. I did acquire some new hits in my classic ski bases earlier.

Afternoon
Firsthand: Freestyle
[ Trails Open: All, Good skis ]
Great skiing today. I safely used my good skis, as it was easy enough to avoid any pine cones and stuff. Saw no rocks. But if you want to be safe, use your B skis.

Afternoon
Firsthand: Freestyle
[ Trails Open: All, B skis ]
I skied all of the trails and they are in great shape. Pretty hard packed on the outside loop, but I was able to get an edge throughout.

Entire system was groomed today with new track in some areas. Track was a little lean and crumbly. There is scattered debris but I didn't see any rocks.

Firsthand: Freestyle Grooming
[ Trails Open: All, B skis ]
Official snowfall for the area this morning is 2". On the Greenbush trails the wet heavy snowfall quickly condensed to no more than 1". The base under the new snow is very wet. It was not possible to do any grooming today with these conditions. I did skate the 3 inner loops, pink, red and green this afternoon. Conditions were slow and sticky. The classic track was skied in and is also slow and wet and is already hitting bottom. Grooming plans: If the wet base underneath freezes we will be able to groom tomorrow morning. We will most likely not be able to set new classic track, we'll see. It's raining now at 3PM.
