Most trails had a dusting of snow over the top of what was groomed yesterday. The trail was well-used today, so that helped the classic track be snow free. A few of the trails were freshly groomed today from the groomer heading out to groom the connecting Cassian trail. Skate deck was firm and holding up through the usage. Overall, firm conditions and a solid track.

I skate skied most of the trail system today. The skate deck was firm and speed was good. There was a light snow falling for most of my outing which started to slow things down just a bit. Overall conditions I would rate as very good. Suicide Hill and a thrill to descend. Herringbone Hill is a workout to climb. I find the trail system and markers to be a tad bit confusing however.

Great coverage at Washburn. Trails seemed to get a lot of use this weekend. The classic track was solid but a bit washed out in spots, particularly close to the Perch Lake Shelter. Deer tracks have also done a surprising number on the classic track, particularly on the east side trails. Overall you'll find a firm deck and good tracks, but the track could use some freshening up.

Excellent skating conditions. Trails were groomed in the morning allowing enough snow to get an edge. Snow conditions was about as fast as it gets. Skate decks was in great shape with some acorn debris by the oak trees. Fat bikers and classic skiers were saying conditions were great for them too.

A good, fun day striding at Washburn! Excellent tracks and skate deck; tracks were a bit icy so blue klister wax worked well (violet might have been better). This trail system has a lot of variety, with lots of mid-sized hills and turns.

Conditions today were good, although some segments of the classic track had softened and then frozen causing some bumps. Not many people were there and the landscape was very pretty.

The warm temps made it a little slow but the skate deck was firm and the tracks were good. Little or no debris in the trail. Very good conditions.

Lot was 3/4 full with mostly skiers out. New fat bike trail looked like fun so will have to come back another time to bike. Skate skied nearly all of the trails in which all were in great condition-some tree debris from recent storm. Skied in the tracks some and they were fast as well as the skate deck. Someone punched holes in the ski deck by walking on it off Washburn Trailhead.
