Freshly groomed this morning - I was out at 10am and I think I was the second person on the trail. I did Lonesome Grouse and Nine Pine and they were wonderful. A bit of debris in the usual places not enough to worry about.

Beautiful lunch time ski. Not freshly groomed but had been skied in by others before us. Sun and some fresh snow made for a great day. Skied everything but the campground loop.

Went on Bear Paw trail. Classic skied. Single trail was groomed and the fresh snow is getting nicely packed down. Gorgeous sunny day for it!

Gorgeous day for skiing and skijoring. Classic tracks through the fresh powder are in good condition. Skate deck looks well-used. Best of all, bare patches on 9 Mile are all covered.

Trails seemed freshly groomed with a dusting of snow. Overall, conditions were very good - good snow cover and a smooth, firm skate deck. Only the wind blown clear cut of Nine Pine was lacking snow and still has a few bare spots and sticks poking through. I used B+ skis.

Skied Bear Paw on Monday. Classic was groomed. Skating was decent, though some recent fresh snow left some tracks. No visible bare spots, just the occasional small twig that had fallen from the trees. Much better conditions that we thought it might be after the rain a few days back.

Conditions were good for classic especially on Lonesome Grouse and Blue Ox. Nine Pine had some thin spots but no bare ground. Not icy. Great to see the people smiling and the dogs romping.

Boulder was surprisingly good! Far from perfect. But decent skiing for sure. I wouldn't use your best skis. And I would pay attention. But most of the trail is in pretty good shape. Especially the double track on Lonesome Grouse is in really good shape except for one spot under a big cedar tree that has a lot of debris. Ski on!

Skied the north loops before heading out on the backcountry trails and the lake. The track is mostly very good, but there are a couple of spots with exposed dirt. You can use your good skis if you're careful. The trails have been heavily used by walkers and snowshoers and a couple of bikers, but they had pretty much stayed off the tracks. When we left, the north parking lot had filled and many more snowshoers were headed out. I've been skiing at Boulder for 20 some years and this was the most people I'd ever seen there.
