We skijored Bear Paw, Blue Ox and Nine Pine. Classic tracks are well-used but in good condition. Skate deck is solid. Open areas in Nine Pine have some exposed dirt, weeds and debris. You can avoid them or ski over alright. Bring your B skis if you’re concerned.

Skied Lonesome Grouse and Nine Pine. Fairly used track but seemed fast throughout. A few scattered sunny spots on Nine Pine had ground partially poking through. Beautiful warm sunny day with temperature about 30 with several other skiers and dogs having a great time.

Beautiful day for skiing. The trails are busy with lots of families and dogs. The weather is mild and sunny. Blue Ox and Bear Paw are well worn but in good shape. Classic tracks show lots of use. Skate deck is firm. Lake crossing between the warming shack and trails is rough ice. Overall, a good day.

All the trails were open and mostly covered. There are a few significant sections of bare ground, though those are fairly easily avoided. The grooming was good and there were lots of people out enjoying the trails. I'd avoid using your best skis, just in case. Pro tip: I only saw one porta potty and it was nearly full. Do your business before heading up to Boulder.

Skied Lonesome Grouse from the East parking lot. Nicely set track with some soft sides in spots due to the recent powdery snow. Beautiful healing way to finish off the year.

Nice to get a little out of town for a ski. Boulder was in good shape. A bit wavy and a bit soft....and a bit slow. But still great! The logged areas had some brown showing....but I did not scratch my skis. Another groom away from totally awesome.

The South Loop (and North too I believe) was groomed this morning and we had an additional 1-2 inches by 3pm. The skate deck was soft. Classic tracks are set. I skate skied the Nine Pine/Blue Ox loops. Lonesome grouse was tracked for classic. Much better coverage now with last night’s snowfall. It was beautiful.

The deck is a bit soft for skate skiing and there are no classic tracks. Go elsewhere if you're looking for the best groomed classic experience. Still, you'll have a good time no matter what method you ski. I skijored the Campground a few times, once all the way to the grooming shed. Then we backtracked past the parking lot, taking the Super Highway to the intersection of Lonesome Grouse and Nine Pine. We didn't go past the the intersection of 9 Pine and Lonesome Grouse so we can't report on those trails. Trails are groomed for skate skiing. No classic tracks laid down, but the dog and I did fine without tracks. The snow is in good condition. It was soft at 17F which made classic skiing manageable. There are some weeds poking up through the snow on the Super Highway. They're avoidable. You'll walk across the road to take the Campground trail. Bring B skis if you're concerned. I used my best skis and they did fine.

Otter Run had about 3 inches of new dry snow atop a crusty base with no grooming yet this season. Eminently skiable and the hummocks are almost all just the result of woody debris, not rocks. Timber Wolf backcountry/snowshoe trail was also skiable. Subfreezing temps tonight should help establish a base for future snowfall.
