Had Otter Run all to myself. No one had skied it since it was set several days ago before the most recent snowfalls. Perfect for Swix Polar at 10°F.

Fantastic afternoon at Boulder! The tracks were definitely soft, but still fun to ski on and provided a great workout! The Blue Ox trail had quite a few paw prints from a four-legged friend, while the Nine Pine trail was nearly immaculate. Thank you to the groomers for getting the trail ready after that 12"+ storm!

Arrived late morning to fresh grooming and tracks. Classic skied all the trails except for the campground loop and they were in excellent condition. Some impressive towering pine trees are scattered throughout this gently rolling trail system.

No grooming this morning at Boulder, (they usually groom Friday and Monday mornings after Thursday and Sunday Dogs-Allowed days) but the tracks were nicely skied in when I arrived about 10, and there was about an inch of light snow on the skate lane, which did not cost much in glide, and gave a velvety feel. I was surprised how little debris there was, given yesterday's very strong wind. Always beautiful in the woods at Boulder!

Lots of cute pups on the trails today for dog day. Trails were groomed overnight, but still got two or so fresh inches on top. Tracks were well skied in. The fresh snow sure makes everything look good!

We skied the Rolling Pin, Timber Cruiser and the Otter Run trails this morning. Temps were hovering around 3 degrees and the sun was out. Tracks were deep and firm, with a fresh dusting of light snow which really slowed us down. Signs of wildlife (and boot prints) were evident on each of the trails.

Busy day with the good snow and weather, plus it's a dog day. Trails are well used but both classic tracks and skate deck holding up well. The dog and I skijored without trouble from trail conditions or other hounds.

Great conditions at South Loop today! Classic track was firm, well-used but intact, reasonably fast. Minimal debris from crushed pine cones. Skate deck appeared firm and fast. Enjoy! Thank you, groomers!

Really good coverage at Boulder Lake today. I skated the system a couple laps on good skis and had no issues. It was freshly groomed and firm but a little slow. The classic tracks looked great and the "Super Highway" was a gem. Thanks groomers.

Great ski at Boulder Lake today! Bear Paw and Blue Ox. Classic tracks were well used but still intact. Few pine cones here and there. Tracks were firm and not slow. Skate deck looked firm; several four- and two-legged friends were out. There is one tree that’s falling down but just hanging over the track at Blue Ox about the 2.5k mark. Parking lot was nearly full. Lovely day to be on skis! Many thanks, groomers!
