Great ski at Boulder today. 9 degrees upon arrival. Swix VR40 with a touch of VR30 over the top kicked great. Excellent track pretty much everywhere. First day out on the good skis...very satisfying ski!

Great weather, good tracks, and cute furry friends. What more could you ask for! Skied Lonesome Grouse and Nine Pine. Tracks were heavily used, but in good shape.

-4 F. Partly sunny, calm. Perfect conditions. Full parking lots at both entrances. The tracks were deep and solid. The skate deck looked great. On part of Nine Pine from the parking lot by Bear Paw several people had walked on the trail, sometimes on the classic track. Otherwise excellent. Sundays and Thursdays are dog days, but there wasn’t any dog poop on the trail. Only what looked like coyote or wolf scat.

Great ski at Bear Paw in frigid temps. No wind in the woods though. Skate deck looked groomed and firm (nearly everywhere). Classic track was reasonably used and still in great condition. A few leaves/debris were in the classic track they slowed one down a bit but manageable. Woods were beautiful!

Lonesome grouse is double tracked and fantastic! Firm tracks and lovely snow covered trees. Looked like all of the south trails got their Friday grooming.

Skied the Lonesome Grouse and the Bear Paw trails from their respective parking lots. Beautiful tracks and scenery throughout. Quite a few people out with partial sun and temperature of +7 degrees. Nice to see all the bat habitat poles installed around the lake (see picture). Bear Paw biffy and parking lot.

Skated nine pines and classic skied lonesome grouse. South trails are groomed and a single set of classic tracks set. Some of the skate track is soft in spots and an inch of new snow made it slow... or maybe that was me. Classic track was firm. Great to have it groomed. Thank you MN power groomer.

Boulder's south loops are rolled and tracked and in terrific shape for classic. Looked a bit soft for skate. Beautiful in the woods with the snow on the pines.
