Grooming
[ Trails Open: Partial, B skis ]
I had the Pisten Bully out at night and our partial man-made loop seems to be holding up in this mild early December weather. I tilled the skate deck and reset tracks. Happy skiing.

Morning
Firsthand: Freestyle

Very good conditions for skate and stride. Cooler and drier weather and fresh grooming created a loose granular surface on a firm base. Much faster than yesterday, but not icy. Tracks are solid with plenty of glide.

[ Trails Open: Partial, B skis ]
I had to Pisten Bully out at night and re-groomed the skate deck. I also reset tracks on our partial man-made that is open. Happy skiing!

Damp and a little soft on the surface, but a firm base underneath made for nice skate conditions. Tracks are firm but a bit wet, and conditions overall were a bit slower than yesterday, but very skiable. A bit of dirt here and there to watch for. Be sure to clean off the bottoms of your boots as soon as you step on the snow.

[ Trails Open: Partial, Good skis ]
If you are looking for excuses to not put in a few K's today, cross trail conditions off the list. Overnight grooming and a good base yielded a good morning of skiing. As of noon, there were only 4-5 skiers out. Even if traffic gets heavy this afternoon, the base should hold up well.

Grooming
[ Trails Open: Partial, B skis ]
The Piston Bully was out at night grooming. The skate deck was tilled and is in good condition with the snow we have. The classic tracks were reset and are in good condition as well. Enjoy these early season conditions.

Night
Grooming
[ Trails Open: Partial, B skis ]
The Piston Bully was out at night grooming the modified T trail. The skate deck was tilled and a new classic track was set. The new high moisture snow we received Friday was tilled in and the trail will be soft to start but should firm up as the day goes on.

Evening
Firsthand: Freestyle
[ Trails Open: Partial, Good skis ]
I left the trails about 8:20 pm being the last skier on the trail. The man made "T" was great early season skiing. It was a light high moisture snow falling when I started and continued for most of my time. Grass kind of visible off the man made snow. The skate deck was a loose but skiable. The classic tracks look okay but could use a refresh depending on the conditions at night for grooming. I would expect lots of visitors this weekend.

Very nice skiing on the manmade snow. The loop is about 0.9 km, in the form of a T. Skate deck is firm and dense, with a little loose granular snow. Striding tracks are solid, fast, but not icy. Great way to start to the season.
