Firsthand: Freestyle 
[ Trails Open: Partial, Good skis ]
The ski season began this morning at Lapham Peak with about 0.7 kilometers of the manmade snow loops groomed for skate and stride. The skate deck is firm and generally flat, with a dense manmade snow surface. A striding track is in place on both sides of the Pond Loop.

Snowmaking, and the spreading of snow whales on the 2/3 km Pond Loop proceeded today. Volunteer snowmakers and groomers have gone all out to get the trails ready for the season. Hope you have your skis ready to go.
