Kudos to the groomer today. The trails were just groomed and new tracks set. It was a perfect day for skiing full sun and spring conditions. Nordic was in much better condition then when I skied at Mc Miller. Only a few grass patches. I would highly recommend skiing Tuesday!

More brown/bare spots today compared to yesterday. With the sun and no clouds, it softened the trail faster with the slightly warm temperatures. Skied purple, white, and orange. B skies for today was fine. Pray for another winter storm in southern Wisconsin to help finish out our ski season!

Skied the Nordic for the first time this year and was awesome. Arrived 7am to a freshly groomed trail. Skied two blue laps with black-firm deck total cover with a few brown spots-downhills not an issue- the pines area was a little thin in spots. First lap nice but then stated to warm up so was slower. By mid morning parking lot was full. Tracks were pretty much in tact with few brown spots as well.

Classic skied the White and also the Green loop. The first half of the white was in great condition. Parts of the second half had a few bare or thin spots but fortunately they were mostly on the flat areas and easy to spot in advance. The green trail was similar, first 2/3 was great, last 1/3 had a few thin or bare spots. Overall a good ski and worth the drive.

All the trails are open. Firm skate deck. Might call it hard pack. Good snow coverage on most of the trail. Some dirt showing through under the trees. Easy to skate around these spots. Only a couple rocks seen on some of the steep uphills. Highly recommend.

My best ski conditions on real snow this season, thanks to the grooming. Only a few thin areas that were easy to avoid. Did White, Orange, purple, and the pines section of the blue. The downhills were controllable.

Perfect day for skiing. Started at 9:30 am skating the purple and white trails. The bright sun made for fast conditions. This was our first skate of the year - don't think it can get better. Enjoy the next couple days it might be a short season without more snow.

Great conditions. Trails are firm with some loose snow on top. The only reason I would recommend B skis is because there were some loose rocks mixed with the snow on the second to last blue loop segment.

My first ski of the year at Kettle Moraine, and on natural snow. Great conditions, groomed, three to four inch base, only a few thin spots, uphills holding up well. Great skiing today!

Grooming of the entire Nordic system this morning re-conditioned all the skate lanes, and the track is still in mostly very good shape. Conditions across the Nordic trails are very good to excellent. Lots of happy skiers out enjoying the sunshine!
