2019-2020 season

The positive is that the tracks are still fairly deep in most sections. However, the majority of the trail is littered in debris. There is so much that the trail is difficult to ski on and expect damage to your skis. I recommend that you avoid Hartley until they are groomed again or there is another snowfall.

Skiied Hartley this morning, trails are in good condition for the most part. A few spots where the track has worn away but for not having any fresh snow for awhile they are in decent condition.

23F, sunny, no wind. Excellent tracks! The groomer went through around noon. They had set up really well by 4pm. A lot of the trail is totally clear and clean. There are also many sections where you can see the remains of twigs and leaves just underneath last night's dusting of snow. Some new leaves in the tracks, but not many. Someone did a ton of work clearing broken branches, etc. Thank you!

As the report for another location says, "it could have been worse". As of 8:30 AM this morning, no fresh grooming at Hartley. However, one of the two tracks had been skied in fairly recently and had the night's dusting of snow over the top. You did not break through crust if you used that track. And now I've skied it in for you. There's a fair amount of blown down twigs and branches, I removed a few of them but additional good Samaritans would be welcome. I didn't hot wax my kick wax into my base, and just used whatever blue was on my skis from last time, but 5K was enough to remove almost all of it. I guess there's some really sharp snow under the powder dusting. Beware of downhills - particularly downhill corners - as there are many ruts and some petrified snow balls in the way. Otherwise, it's nice and dry...no puddles or ice patches. Could have been worse.

Everything was in good shape despite the warm spell we've been suffering through. There had been some walkers on the trails, but the tracks were undamaged. It was pretty fast out, though, so the one big downhill was pretty zippy.

Groomed today! Only two locations where branches need pruned. Great skiing conditions! Blue and green trails were great!

Still in fantastic condition as previously reported. Very few leaves in tracks. Directional signs were hard to catch.

Beautiful! Fresh groomed double track. Can't get better than this. Not to cold or windy. Very nice.

Great trails and well groomed. It was pretty windy this morning and there was snow blowing in the tracks, but they got skied in pretty quickly. Everything is in perfect condition. Make sure you check out which direction to ski! Some of the one-way signs are pretty faded or missing.

Trails are in great shape! Great grooming with a bit of fresh powder on top. Perfect conditions for classic skiing.
