Came late afternoon. Happy to be out on the beautiful day. Skate deck was still in OK shape, but it's getting really thin is a few places and a bit icy in others. More snow please! :) Didn't classic, so can't comment there. Lots of people heading out as I was wrapping up a short/quick one. Still a great day to be out.

Skate deck is in good shape! Really appreciate the people putting work into keeping Columbia in good shape for skiing. There are a few bare spots where grass and ground are peeking through, but overall in good shape to get out and ski.

Skied entire course including the driving range and clubhouse. Hats off and three cheers to the groomers who’ve made good classic tracks out of dreams! Much improved from last Saturday. 85% was good gliding, the other 15% was skills drills. There were scattered spots of icy/no tracks/clutter but overall a great ski. Skate deck looked firm and good.

Groomed the skate deck this evening. It looks great, a few spots with grass showing, but they should be easy to avoid. I experimented with resetting the classic tracks, but the snow was too hard and not deep enough. The existing tracks are pretty good except for corners and hills.

Skied yesterday with family. Tons of people out enjoying the trail. Skied classic. I went this afternoon and did the whole thing. It was super cold so some spots slick. All is completely skiable. Most is are great, some is thin but works fine. Just a few spots blown over but not a big deal. Enjoyed my evening.

Classic tracks were in decent shape albeit getting tired in some spots, others were full of blown in snow. The overall conditions exceeded expectations. Hats off to the groomer caring for the course, thank you. All's well for this time of the year, great course.

Groomed skate deck again late tonight to hopefully get it to set up nice before it gets cold. It was windy out there this evening and there is some already major drifting happening in the open areas. I left the classic tracks alone.

Groomed and reset classic tracks this afternoon. My apologies for the little wiggle in the classic tracks on west side decent. I added snow to thin sections for redemption. Otherwise, it groomed out nicely. I’m still suggesting B skis due to thin conditions. But, I’ll be heading out to see how it skis now. Come ski Columbia! It’s in good shape!

I’m a beginning classic skier and had a nice ski this morning with my husband and lots of folks out on the course! We skied the main loop and the driving range. The classic tracks were more conceptual in some spots and we ran into some icy patches especially by the bases of trees and tops of hills, but overall both loops are in good shape. It’s clear the groomers have been working hard with the little snowfall we’ve had so far this season. Lovely weather and kind skiers today!
