The fresh snow was light and a little windswept, but with the solid base it was relatively quick for most of the loop. Classic tracks were hidden in parts due to the snow but the skate deck was pretty good overall.

Trails were great this morning, freshly groomed last night. It was snowing a bit this morning so there may be a bit of fluff on the trails by this afternoon.

Groomed Columbia tonight and set new tracks. It looks excellent. May have a shallow track here or there but should ski well. Enjoy!

Another great day of skiing at Columbia Heights. The groomers deserve our total admiration, the course is solid and expertly groomed. Skate deck was smooth with obvious evidence of much use but still smooth and ready for more skiers. Classic tracks looked great through the entire course.

Skied late afternoon, found very good conditions throughout the trail system. Skate deck was firm and well used, but not rutted or icy. Classic tracks looked good as well. Noticed the walking path signs -- well placed. Snow felt a little slow for some reason, but maybe that was just me! Great to have such a well groomed trail in NE Minneapolis! And even got a peek of the sun for a few minutes.

Our equipment problems are resolved, so we were able to groom today. Smoothed out the skate deck and reset the tracks. Looks great out there, I'm going to go ski a few laps right now!

Classic tracks Sunday afternoon were fine in a lot of places, thin/indistinct in a lot of places, and completely washed out around corners, at the bottom of hills, etc. It's a beautiful course and I enjoyed being out there, but hoping groomers can reset the classic tracks to their usual fantastic condition.

Skated Columbia Golf Course today. Trails are in good shape. No icy spots, ruts, or ridges. Thanks to the groomers for getting it into good shape after the slush days! Tracks generally looked good, maybe a little shallow in a few places, but that's just from observation while skating.

Groomed the skate deck. Had some equipment problems, so I was not able to reset the classic tracks, but they look pretty good anyway, just a little washed out around sharp corners where you would expect. Tomorrow should be a lovely day at Columbia!
