Groomed the skate deck this morning. Classic tracks are in good shape. Conditions at Columbia are about perfect today, I can't wait to get back out there on skis!

Very good skiing today, especially the skate deck was perfect and the classic mostly very good except for a few skied out places on downhill curves; no debris, perfect day for skiing, but didn't see the coyote! Thank you faithful groomers.

Columbia is groomed for skate and classic and looks really nice. Good snow on skate deck and decent to excellent tracks. Be aware that there is a coyote on the course today. Today will be great skiing. Enjoy.

Skied at sunset and the trails were as good as they could be considering the weather. Only a small bit of grass sticking through in a very small section and a little icy on the whole. Clubhouse loop was in good condition even with the kids sledding around it. Again huge props to the groomers for their work keeping the course in great condition.

Excellent conditions at Columbia this morning. The snow was smooth and firm and the coverage was complete. I skated, but the classic tracks looked great. Started to get a little slower around noon with the warm temps.

Groomed and set new tracks late tonight. The warm temps are making it mushy out there unfortunately, but it groomed out well enough. Tried shoveling snow on the few thin spots when I could. There were plenty of footprints (human and animal) on the skate deck, which mostly came out with grooming. It'll be in good shape for tomorrow.

Tracks a little chewed up in parts from boots and sleds, but overall in good shape. Drifting not a problem. Small leaf debris in many parts. A couple bare spots from 30F temps today. Thank you, groomers! Grateful.

Skied late afternoon. Saw plenty of other skiers out! There was a nice classic track set and the skate deck was firm with the exception of a few short sections that were a little punchy. Really nice ski, and fantastic job by the dedicated grooming crew -- only wish it was a little warmer (north breeze was still cold as the sun was going down).

Best conditions I've seen at Columbia in three years. Fantastic. No icy spots. Edges of the skate deck can be a little soft.
