Conditions were marginal, to be expected with area getting first real snow in about a month. Trails were groomed. Skate base was soft and tracks were slow and stickey because of new falling snow. But hey, its finally here in the south east of Wisconsin.

Skated Fern Dell this afternoon. Skate deck is soft, but that's to be expected with the new snow. The usual few oak leaves and twigs. Tracks were set for classic.
