2020-2021 season
Reports 1 to 4 of 4    Month: Feb | Jan

Firsthand: Classic
[ Trails Open: All, Good skis ]
After the Spooner area received about 6-8 inches of new snow, volunteer groomer Kevin Myers set a new track out at the Beaver Brook Wildlife Area. The tracks are deep and firm. There is plenty of snow for good coverage and control. With the colder temps, the snow crystals will be sharp, thus offering great kick and classic skiing. Enjoy!

Morning
Observation
You can see that it was groomed, but the trail is deteriorating and it has not been groomed recently. Downhills are a bit scary looking and there is lots of debris on the trail.

[ Trails Open: All, Good skis ]
The xc ski trails at Beaver Brook Wildlife Area are holding up pretty well. There are some dirt spots here and there. The tracks were a bit glazed for kicking, but the glide was super fast in the tracks! There is plenty of snow to help control you down some of the twisting downhills.

Recently, volunteer groomer, Kevin Myers groomed the Beaver Brook Ski Trails. The trails are in very good shape with deep, firm tracks. Skiers will also find good coverage and the tracks provide very good control, kick and speed. Skiers are welcome to bring their dogs to ski along. Enjoy!
