Skied the blue trail a few times. Very soft track. Maybe better with another pass of the groomer. Crossed the other trails there and they looked the same.

Grooming
[ Trails Open: All, Good skis ]
Groomed the entire trail system tonight. It will be a bit soft till it sets up. Full depth classic tracks and flat skate lane. Seems the trail recieved over 10 inches of snow but hard to tell with the drifting. Rolled yesterday's snow last night and groomed today's snow on top of that. If you're in the area for the Birkie and want to get a ski in before or after the race, Tomahawk is a good option. Good luck to all the Birkie skiers!

Grooming
[ Trails Open: All, Good skis ]
The skate deck on the outer loop was groomed to get the new fluff and drifting blended in. Most of the classic tracks on the outer loop were not reset as the cold snow was a little chalky where they were reset. The blue classic only trail was not groomed as it is skiing well.

Our first time on these trails. Skied the entire yellow loop. Really enjoyed them. Conditions were very good. Very little drifting. Sunshine and 8 degrees. Perfect weather. We will be back.

Grooming
[ Trails Open: All, Good skis ]
The entire system was rolled and groomed today. About 3 inches of new snow made the trails about as good as they can be. The areas exposed to the wind will drift in a bit. Cold should firm things up .Thanks to groomers Bruce and Mark for rolling.

I skated/trudged the badger loop. That is a comment on my skiing, not the conditions! There is an inch of fluff on top of the nicely firm and flat deck. It was just me and some deer and a wolf this morning. Our grooming plan is to start right after new snow stops. If there is more than 4 inches we will roll first, otherwise go straight to grooming.

Did a loop and the main deck is quite nice. The short cuts were not groomed but actually skied really well. We will get those groomed next time we are out. We are trying to figure out the timing of the next snow so we can get it groomed right after and let it set up in the cold air.

Grooming
[ Trails Open: All, Good skis ]
Thanks to Jeff from the town and Jeff volunteer groomer the electrical issue was fixed. Was able to groom the entire outer loop (11k ish) both skate and classic. With Bruce grooming the classic loop yesterday it's in great shape no debris and no bare spots. If you need to get in some k's prepping for the birkie the trail will be a good place to go.

We were able to reset the classic trap on the blue loop as well as on the Porcupine Loop and the exterior of the main loop. An issue with the groomer prevented us finishing the skate deck on the outer loop and to the Barnes Rd. Trailhead. We will hopefully get that rectified shortly. The classic skiing should be great tomorrow as this snow was exactly what we needed.
