Morning
Firsthand: Classic
[ Good skis ]
I skied Pincushion Mtn Loop (freshly groomed when I skied), then North Advanced to M and O thru Canyon Curves Loop, Upper and Lower Snowman and West OverLoop. All had a deep firm trackset. I seemed to glide forever on the long gradual downhills but not out of control.

Skied North Advanced, Ole Hyvaa, Hilfiker and Canyon Curves. Classic track still in good shape with some debris in tracks but generally fast. Skate deck on upper loops is still very soft and there are very few freestyle tracks. Grateful for another gorgeous day.

Afternoon
Firsthand: Classic Secondhand
[ Trails Open: All, Good skis ]
Skied Pincushion Loop. Classic tracks freshly groomed and well set. I like how the groomer has raised the track setter on some of the steeper inclines and runouts. As per grooming report email this morning, black trails have not been groomed since most recent snowfall.

Skied the Pincushion Mountain Overlook and Snowman loops. Trails were well set and fast. Small scattering of debris in some sections. Beautiful day in the forest and the windchill wasn’t too bad.

Great conditions today. I classic skied the entire system and tracks were solid in spite of all the new snow. Skating looked a bit soft. Midwinter conditions on the Gunflint. Get out and enjoy.

Trails are groomed and conditions are great! Skate deck was a little soft but still very skiable after all the recent fresh snow. Classic tracks were pristine. Plenty of deer sightings as well!
