Thanks to Mother Nature and our great groomer! Deerwood area skiers have been really spoiled lately. Skiing this afternoon was simply spectacular.

Thanks for the excellent re-grooming Friday morning, and thanks for posting the groomer's report that prompted me to get out on the trails. The striding tracks were perfect, and the skating deck appeared to be likewise. Much appreciated!

Three inches of new snow. Groomed all trail segments and set new tracks. Made two passes on skate deck to firm it up as much as possible.

Two inches of snow over the weekend. Groomed all skate lanes. Set new track on all trail segments except the upper inside classic trail.

An overnight dusting of snow. Made two passes on all skate lanes with 84" ginzu groomer. Lowered the rakers and took out most of the ski grooves. Classic tracks look solid, so I left them be. Few oak leaves! There is a ski social planned on Sunday, noon-2pm, at the shelter.

One half inch of wind blown snow yesterday. Groomed all skate lanes and set new track on all segments. I picked up lots of sticks on the trail from the wind. Did not pick up individual leaves, however. The leaves are incorporated into the snow now.

Great coverage everywhere. Hills in good condition. Some debris throughout, but very easily avoidable (pictured is worst of conditions you will encounter).
