[ Trails Open: All, Good skis ]
All trails combed and tracked today. With some equipment problems we were not able to work into the base as much as we would have liked to, so with some hard pack remaining, skate deck and classic track fair. Still a decent ski experience going into warming temps.

Skate skijored the multiuse trail. Fun ski today. It's definitely getting multi-use, but is in good shape. Base has firmed up nicely since Monday. The footprints and the fat tire track wobbling down the center of the skate deck were relatively shallow. Surface is soft enough to glide over these without catching. The non-wooded sections where where this trail can tend to be drifted/lumpy were level. A few leaves, but nothing close to what we had earlier this season. There is still a bit of a berm down the center on the link to the Y parking lot (see photo). Tracks looked solid throughout. Happy to have this option available so I can bring the pup with me for some of my training. Thank you Anoka County!

Skied all the classic trails this afternoon, and everything is in very good shape. Skate deck looked used, but still good, although all the skiers I passed were classic. It's so nice to have a real winter again!

Grooming
[ Trails Open: All, Good skis ]
All trails combed and tracked. Skate deck pretty firm and in very good condition. Classic track really nice now, and after setting up overnight good conditions should hold for a while.

South loop was fine ... nice tracks, no ice. I'm new to skiing but this was heaven compared to the icy experiences, and falls, I've had other times.

Lino Lakes avoided most of the rain last night. There is a 1/2 inch of fresh snow on the trails this morning. Made the trails soft and the skiing slow. Good day to slow down and watch the deer. And dream about fresh wax on my skis:).

I skated both the north and south sections of trail from the club house tonight, and it was great skiing! A little soft in a couple spots as the groomer wrote earlier, but setting up nicely making for really nice conditions. The classic tracks appeared fresh, and I intend to check them out tomorrow. Thank you groomers!

[ Trails Open: All, Good skis ]
All trails rolled today in preparation for combing and tracking Sunday. Where not windblown and drifted, trails offer a decent skate experience now, and should comb out very nice tomorrow.
