Skied the Lace Lake and Poplar Creek Trails and even poked into the Banadad for a ways. Conditions were great. This area had recent snow so the Poplar Creek trails were groomed.

Beautiful classic skiing today at both Bearskin and Golden Eagle. About 2" of snow, and looks like most trails were groomed this morning or last night. Great to be skiing on hard wax again!

Classic skied from Golden Eagle, the Eagle side, and then across the lake, the Bearskin side. Trails were firm and icy for the most part as the previous day the temps were about 40 degrees and today's temps were around 30, but skins worked fine. Some of the Bearskin side, like Beaver Dam, seemed to have been regroomed just before we skied it and it was much better.

Grooming
[ Trails Open: All, Good skis ]
Very warm temperatures over the weekend has us back power tilling trails again. We are still skiing and will for a while yet! Conditions are very fast and may be icy in the mornings on trails that weren’t groomed within the previous 24 hours. We will be grooming frequently to stay ahead of these freeze/thaw effects. Weather and the warming temps will dictate how much can be groomed each day.

Grooming
[ Trails Open: All, Good skis ]
We received 8 additional inches of new snow. Warm temps are forecast but there is plenty of base (avg 15-19 inches) to continue grooming and tilling as needed yet. Weather will dictate how much and how long we can groom each day. Beautiful March skiing conditions.

Fabulous snow storm here at Bearskin lodge. Woke up to 5” on the ground and snowed until 12 noon. Broke our own trail at 7 am on the Beaver Dam trail. Groomer was out by the time we finished. Fun.

Excellent conditions. Groomers were out integrating the fresh inch or two into the incredibly deep base. Classic tracks were good. I was classic skiing, but the skate lanes were firm enough despite the fresh snow.

Beautiful winter conditions! All trails were just re-groomed again as the snow just keeps coming this year. Trail base is deep and firm – excellent skate deck. Classic track set on all trails. All ski trails will be groomed throughout the weekend as needed, regardless of snowfall. Comfortable temps in the teens and twenties are predicted for the upcoming days – excellent skiing weather!
