Grooming
[ Trails Open: All, Good skis ]
Our new groomer is still in for repairs. It was too warm to drag the skate deck with the old equipment and where I started there are snowballs on the skate deck. Other than where I dragged, the rest of the trail will be good for skate skiing. Track was set on the whole trail and is very good for classical skiing. With the old track setter, it cannot be raised so when going down hills with a turn on the bottom I suggest using the skate area. Spring time skiing conditions continue - the trail will be firm and fast in the mornings when it freezes at night and soft and slow when temperatures get above freezing.

Afternoon
Firsthand: Classic
[ Trails Open: All, Good skis ]
With cold weather arriving last night and about 1 to 2 inches of snow, the trail was in good to very good condition for classical skiing. With the warm weather the trail settled and the tracks were shallow but still good. It looked like the skate deck was also good.

Grooming
[ Trails Open: All, Good skis ]
The trail was rolled on Sunday and today it was rolled, dragged and tracked. Due to the 12 inches of snow we received, it may be soft and will hopefully firm up more tonight. Otherwise the trail is in excellent condition.
