Firsthand: Classic

Went out Saturday and groomer did a great job recently. Looks like a few others had been out, but in very good shape. A little debris on trails, but mostly very good conditions.

No new snow, but got that nice freezing drizzle last night! All trails regroomed. Cutting knives lowered to break up the icy conditions on all trail segments. A new track set on all trails.

Grooming
[ Trails Open: All, B skis ]
No new snow, 48 degrees on Tuesday, rain Wed night. Started grooming at 3pm, but did not get a half decent track with the cutting knives and track setter down on one pass, so I made a pass with knives down and track setter up on 3/4 of the trails. Set track on all segments with mixed results. Better now then the hard, crusty deck earlier.

Grooming
[ Trails Open: All, Good skis ]
Seven inches of new snow. Did one pass with the six foot roller on all trail segments to pack the snow down, then pulled the 84 inch ginzu groomer packing some more and simultaneously setting a classic track on all trail segments. Enjoy!

Grooming

Six inches of pre-Thanksgiving snow. Deadfall and leaning brush from heavy snow has been cut and removed. All segments groomed and classiic tracks set, but fair to poor results with snow stuck in the heavy tree cover. Two inch compacted base.
