2022-2023 season

Morning
Firsthand: Classic
[ Trails Open: All, Good skis ]
Strided all the trails (and some twice) late morning early afternoon. Track and skate deck were soft with the new snow, but the glide was excellent. Track depth varied, but did not deter from the fun ski outing. Thanks to the park staff for the prompt grooming this morning!

Great skiing out at Kegonsa! The skate deck is pretty soft in some areas especially on the south blue loop and green loop through the campground due to the fluffiness of snow we got. Overall good coverage though. Lots of people out on the classic tracks which seemed to be set well. Couldn't ask for a better day out there!

Morning
Firsthand: Freestyle
[ Trails Open: All, B skis ]
All the trails are in good condition. Smoothest trails were in the campground. Blue trails in the woods were difficult while skating. Classic would have been fine in the woods. Small sticks have fallen on the trail due to high winds. Easy to ski around.

Trails have not been groomed but are well skied in. Rock or B skis for both classic and skate. Here and there some bits of gravel or a rock but easy to avoid. Enjoy and ski! The campground trails were actually fast because of the icy base and minimal snow but again bring B or rock skis. Plenty of snow on the main trails.
