Trail Detail
Notes
Mcnaughton Lake Trail follows old logging roads around three lakes and has very few steep hills. It is very scenic and an excellent trail for a beginner. A five and a half mile loop is groomed for skating. There is a shelter with a fire ring on the trail.Trail Reports

Conditions poor. Heavy snows brought a plethora of branches and trees down across trail. Unable to clear all of the trail on this day. Also unable to lay tracks due to slushy conditions.

Skaters loop cut and groomed. All other loops cut and tracked. Leafy debris from oaks on trail. Overall good conditions.

Yeah kudos to Sara for grooming! Was great to ski our home trail. Both my wife and I like the way Sara groomed: no tracks on downhill and only single track on uphills. The trail had a great deep track with great coverage. Checked the skating deck out at shelter and looked and felt great. The trees were gorgeous! Trail is in great shape, go SKI!
