Morning
Firsthand: Classic
[ Trails Open: All, Good skis ]
The trail was groomed yesterday and was in good condition, especially the skate deck. The classic tracks were reset and were in very good condition. Many of the tight turns were washed out. The woodsy hills were also in good condition, without too much in the way of debris or leaves. Nice place to ski!

Afternoon
Firsthand: Classic
[ Trails Open: All, Good skis ]
Skied early afternoon, found the trails in excellent condition. Nice solid classic track set, only a few washouts, mostly at corners. Skate deck looked good as well, and appeared to have been groomed in the last 24 hours. Sunshine made it feel warmer than the single digits. Best conditions I've seen at Irondale in quite a while. Saw a couple pairs of skiers out, but still light traffic on the trails.

Firsthand: Freestyle
[ Trails Open: All, Good skis ]
We skied the entire course right after it had been groomed, with only one set of tracks in front of us in some places. A big thank you to whoever groomed; the results can only be described as "silky smooth.".

Morning
Grooming
[ Trails Open: All, Good skis ]
Groomed the entire trail this morning. Also set new classic tracks, but with the wind picking up and blowing the new snow around you may wonder by noon if there ever were tracks. The upper fields may get a little tough in the wind too, but the woods and meadow should provide a decent wind break and a good ski.

Morning
Grooming
[ Trails Open: All, Good skis ]
Groomed the skate deck throughout the entire trail. Didn't reset classic tracks as they looked pretty decent and it didn't seem as though chewing up the trail deep enough to reset new tracks was a good idea with the warm weather. Grooming plans: Classic tracks will be reset either Wednesday or Friday morning depending on how they look and the temperature. The upper fields were reset with double tracks for high school practice today and tomorrow.

Observation Scheduling

Trail is closed again today. Warm temps and rain has saturated the snow. We plan to groom and reopen the trail on Wednesday when temps go below freezing.

Observation Scheduling
[ Trails: Closed, Good skis ]
With the warm temps and rain today - we are closing the trail for the day. Skiing in these conditions often leaves deep ruts that are hard to groom out once the temps drop below freezing. Hope to reopen the trail on Tuesday or Wednesday.
