Skied right around noon. There is an inner and an outer loop groomed for skate only. There were only a handful of thin spots on the trail. The "worst" of which is included in the pictures. There also appears to be a few places either the groomer got stuck or the maintenance crew chewed up the trail. Nothing you can't get through, but a definite disruption. The trail is relatively flat and even considering the amount of snow. The deck was pretty firm, but I did punch my poles through in a few places. The snow was just starting to turn marshmallowy in the sun as I was leaving at 12:30. I'm a little concerned the thin spots may turn into bare spots in the next few days of warmth and sun.

Drive-by report: The trails at the U of MN appear to have been groomed. I could not see if tracks had been set.

I pulled into the parking lot (which has been plowed) and from what I could see, no grooming has taken place. A classic skier was making his own tracks.
