Track firm and fast, grass in a few spots, generally on downhills which can affect balance. Great morning.

Grooming
[ Trails Open: All, B skis ]
Groomed this morning and trying to massage the snow we have and gently tickle the skate deck to renovate from the weekend. I was pleasantly suprised with coverage and conditions this morning when I was finished.. The snow we have is holding up well so far. Someone had shoveled snow on to dozens of the small thin/bare areas so was able to use the groomer to improve those spots. Super huge thank you to whomever did that work! We will see how we come out the other side of the thaw this week. If you know a snow dance, I would do it. Classic track is average and well used, but there just isn't enough snow to reset at this time.

Overall ok, except on many hills grass is peaking out and the classic tracks are weak or nonexistent. The one section where tree work was done also has no classic tracks. Could use another snowfall and another grooming but is definitely skiable.

Both skate and classic tracks are starting to see a few grass patches and icy spots. One 50 foot section now covered by tree work. Not the best conditions, but still good if you're looking to get out. Need some fresh snow!

Afternoon

[ Trails Open: All, B skis ]
Skied around 1 pm. Skate trails are hard packed (especially the outer loop). It was a little tough to get an edge in spots. Also, they were doing tree work on the course—some damage to the trails but still manageable. Overall good, considering weather and snow depth.

Grooming

At 8 am today only one other car there. Sun coming through the trees and fog. Beautiful. Not icy. Some worn spots. Fast snow. Overall good considering temperatures and amount of snow.

Great kick and glide, very fast, hard to get good workout. Grass is starting to show in places, mostly south-facing hills. Might be last good day.

Beautiful sunshine for our first ski of 2021. Funny how you forget from last season about the hills at the golf course! A few thin spots and some side-to-side play in the classic tracks, but they were just fine for our recreational purposes. The trails have seen lots of use already and there were plenty of skiers out mid-morning.

At 9:30 am nice and fast, great kick and glide. Some of the downhills had leaves in track which can cause abrupt slowdown. Nice trail layout this year, nice mix of hills and flats. Grass was poking out in places but did not affect skiing.
