Night
Grooming
[ Trails Open: All, Good skis ]
Rolled all trails starting about 8am with 8” new light fluffy snow. Skied Doan Lake shortly after noon. Skied in tracks in roller ridges by earlier skiers but really nice skiing. Set tracks on the entire system tonight with a another 2-3” after this morning. Pulled an old Tidd Tech track setter behind our new ABR Roller, so new tracks while I was still mostly packing the new snow. Should be really nice skiing tomorrow.

Grooming
[ Trails Open: All, B skis ]
Rolled Trout Trails and Doan Lake Trails early afternoon. 3” new snow on south end. Less on the north end. Previous base was still mostly intact. Snow is soft but should set up nicely. Scattered icy spots especially in low spots. Plenty of sticks on the trail. Pick up a few when you’re out skiing.

Grooming
[ Trails Open: All, Rock skis ]
Rolled Trout Trails and Doan Lake this morning. Base is improving on Trout Trails but I think you might hit some gravel in spots. Doan Lake has better base and B skis ok. Still too thin for track setting. Snow is still soft and skied in tracks will happen.

Firsthand: Classic
[ Trails Open: All, B skis ]
10” light fluffy new snow. Trails were rolled about noon by JC with our new ABR Roller. Thanks NLNSC! Skied the Doan Loop and up to Trout Trail intersection. There was an inch or so of residual snow under the new snow so base was pretty good and no contact with the ground. Too thin for track setter but the roller ridges were more than adequate. Super quiet out there today. Fun to be out in the woods. Skied just a little on Trout Trail. Not as good a base as Doan.
