Joyce estate main trail to north gate and Doan lake are groomed, tracked and in excellent condition. Enjoy!

Joyce Estate trail groomed Saturday morning, skied very well with minimum trail debris. Light snow fell late afternoon but trail still should be great.

Doan Lake Trails: Packed the pole tracks with the snowmobile, Shoveled off top of drift bumps, Trimmed branches, Then used Ginzu to flatten out the trail and set new classic tracks. Excellent conditions.

Doan Lake trails groomed and new classic tracks set this morning. The snow is super dry from the crazy cold temperatures. The tracks are soft and may set up OK or they may need more snow and warmer temperatures. Plenty of drifts along the east side of the lake. I barreled thru pretty fast so tracks are likely squirrelly. The grooming plan is to finish the Trout Lake trails this afternoon.

Skied fresh snow into the set tracks over the past two days on the Joyce Estates and Doan Lake Trails. A pack of wolves appears to have marched with precision in the set tracks. They left behind signs that the deep snow has aided their deer hunting.

Skied the entire Joyce and Doan Lake Trails. Nearing mid-season form after the huge snowfall. Classic tracks generally in good shape. A little soft in places, but hardening up from the cold temps. It's a winter wonderland out there.

Doan Lake Trails rolled, feathered, and classic tracks set. Lots of snow and conditions are soft. I haven't had the groomer out yet so trail is not super flat. Good skiing though. Doan Trailhead parking lot is plowed. Grooming plans: Trout trails maybe later today.

5" of wet heavy snow and near freezing temperatures. Grooming plans: We will wait till the temperatures drop and the snow dries out a little before grooming.
