Biskey was freshly groomed today! Huge thank you to the groomer who went out and did it! The tracks are great, firm. They were slowing a bit as we continued due to the sun. There are parts that are only singletrack that are typically double but we were happy just having fresh tracks. There is also a pretty good sized "berm" between the double tracks so if you are a snowplower, it is not really possible. The turn off just past Black Spruce that is typically the way to get onto the trail to Eagle Ridge, the correct way, was not groomed. Most of it is very narrow so herringboning up hills was not even possible with our short skis on two steep uphills. There was also some wolf scat, a rather large pile right in the middle of a downhill so watch out! Pole plants were varied from firm to soft, but mostly firm. I stuck my pole in and the snow depth was above mid-thigh when I measured on the sides. It was a treat! Thank you groomers!

Beautiful mid winter conditions. Got out there before all the uphills were stamped out. Able to stride all but one uphill. Lovely! Kudos to Keith and Mike for grooming.

We skied Biskey today and it was beautiful and had not been groomed since the new snow. Temps were 15 and sunny as we skied Eagle Ridge, Wolf Run and Black Spruce. Tracks were completely debris free throughout, mostly intact except for a few corners and pole plants were mostly firm. Lots of wild animal tracks on Blue Spruce. The big hill on Eagle Ridge wasn't too scary today either! Remember to put some money in the donation box when you go... it's all volunteers!

Week of my 70th birthday and a good time to test out my newer shoulder. First time on skis in two years. What a wonderful place for a morning glide through the woods. It was slow going, which suited me just fine for this trip. Thankful for this gem of a place and for people who can put in new shoulders!

Despite semi-shallow tracks on a few segments, it was a great ski, fast snow, and nice folks on the trails. Can't wait to try again after a fresh groom.

Does it really get any better than this? Great grooming, deep, solid tracks and firm pole plants. Bluebird blue wax day and tight classic skiing. Fanfreakintastic!

I would say everything is open at the time of skiing (4pm), not 100% groomed but skiable. The grooming team was out in force while I was there - Thank you to those who keep the trail in such great shape! I skied out White Pine and Birch Ridge and back on Wolf Run. Wolf run was not totally groomed, but tracked decently well. A gorgeous sunny day out skiing, snow was a bit soft but it had not had a chance to set up yet either.
