The team has been at it since early this morning. Many of the trails will require two passes due to the 6+ inches of snow we received yesterday. All skate lanes and classic tracks are being groomed system wide. Conditions will be soft today due to snowfall amounts. We will be finished grooming by late morning. Grooming plans: We will resume grooming on Thursday and Friday mornings to get things in great shape for the weekend. .

Overall conditions are firm and fast. Skate lanes are excellent system wide. Classic tracks are fair to good due to shallow depth and some small areas where we were unable to set track. North Trails have better tracks than the South Trails. Ground is just too hard for our current equipment. We are waiting on part for our power tiller which should arrive today. As soon as it arrives we will get it running and be able to set proper tracks.

This morning they had freshly groomed the skate ski lane. The corduroy was very functional for skate skiing but the substrate was very solid. The classic tracks were generally in good condition but had not been reset since the last thaw/freeze cycle. Impressive skiing conditions considering the recent weather.

Joel groomed the majority of the skate lanes Saturday night while temperatures were still warm enough to reincorporate the water content and hopefully limit ice formation on the skate lanes. Classic tracks were left so expect fast and icy conditions in areas. Only notable sections not groomed were the Out and Back and between posts L and P on the 7k loop.

Great conditions around the 10K trail. Tracks were still in good condition for most all of the way. Lots of people around the chalet but once you get out on the trail you seldom see anyone!

The grooming board indicated all trails had been groomed Friday. I skied the red loop including the out and back and then went out again to ski the blue loop. Overall conditions I would rate as very good. The skate deck was firm and speed was good. I followed the groomer for a short distance the second time out on the blue trail. The skate deck was soft following the groomer but luckily the groomer turned off a short distance into the blue loop.

Skied the 10K loop before noon, then went back and skied some of the shorter interior segments later in the day. Conditions were absolutely wonderful. Most of the classic tracks I skied were freshly groomed, and the few that weren't were not badly blown in from the winds earlier in the week, very skiable. Very few leaves in the tracks, deck was firm, no obstructions of any sort.

Brad was out Friday night and groomed all the skate lanes and fixed the classic tracks in a few areas as needed. Conditions should be very good today and just an excellent weekend to get outside. Plan is to groom the skate lanes again Saturday night as temperatures will be great for perfect grooming. Enjoy!

Skated all of the trails and it was excellent all the way around. Double polled in the tracks as well and they were also excellent. No critiques.

Excellent conditions throughout the trail system. Everything was freshly groomed this morning after about an inch of snowfall overnight.
