Trails are very icy this morning. Please use caution if skiing at WinMan today. The grooming team will be out working on the trails this morning and afternoon.

The team was out again this morning working on the skate lanes to help firm them up. With slightly warmer temperatures, the deck set up much better than yesterday. Majority of classic tracks were reset as well. Overall, very good conditions throughout the system.

Entire system was groomed this morning with the crew finishing up at noon. Soft and slow conditions throughout due to cold temperatures and the composition of the snow. Classic will be you best bet until the skate lanes have an ability to firm up.

Good workout skating through 3 inches of new powder. Nothing groomed today. Very cold, but pretty. I only saw one other skier.

Ooo La La! The good stuff. Started the day with an 8:00 am preski in single digits, setting up the course for a 10:00 HS/MS race. The tracks were just a bit dusted in, just the way I like them. The skate deck had recently been touched up by the groomers after they had spent many hours in the day before pounding a dump of many wet inches into shape. Good on 'em! The kids today were gifted a beautiful race experience. If they had a bad day, turn to swimming, there is no hope because this was a Grade A day, course, facility, and race organization. Thanks to all. If you're in the neighborhood, you can't go wrong at WinMan.

Excellent skiing conditions that should continue to improve through the weekend. Note: We are hosting a middle and high school race on Saturday until 2pm. North Trails will be closed until the race is complete. South Trails will remain open and are best accessed from our Papoose Lake Road trailhead.

Trails are open but fair conditions due to difficulty grooming the heavy, wet snow from this morning. Currently skate lanes are open but no tracks are set. Plan is to re-groom tomorrow morning when temps are in the low 20's and set tracks then.

I think the recommendation was for B skis, but I used my best with no problems. There were a few rough patches, but simple to step around.

We received about 1.5 inches yesterday. Groomed skate lanes last night, are working to reset tracks this morning. Majority of trail is good but still a few spots which are thin which is why we still recommend B skis.

The area had received approx. 2" of fresh snow during the day. Skied here in the evening and the new snow was already groomed and mixed with existing snow base. Conditions are very good. Used good skis with no hesitation. Highly recommended this trail system.
