Located close to town behind the Hayward Area Memorial Hospital, the 7.5 miles of trails are a mix of flat and easy rolling terrain, winding around a lake and through pines and hardwoods.

We had 2 inches of snow yesterday morning and the trail has been groomed since then. It's been used a bit and sideswiped in a few places, but overall great condition. I give it a 9.

Trail is groomed with deep double tracks. The tracks set up well in the cold weather. There are scattered thin spots with grass showing which can be stepped around. Nice early season classic conditions.

The trails were freshly groomed, double-tracked. There were leaves in the tracks in a few places and I hit a couple of soft spots, but considering it's early in the season, the conditions were great. I give it an 8. This year there's a portable toilet at the parking lot off Hospital Road. Thanks, HASTA!
