First time skiing here for us. Skied on both north side and south side of county road. Better scenery on the south. No suggested directional arrows on south side. We went left or clockwise at first junction and it was a good thing since the rolling hills had much better runs and flow going that direction. Corners at some downward hills were rather tight, but a great day of skiing there today.

Grooming
[ Trails Open: All, Good skis ]
We received a couple of inches of light, fluffy snow on Saturday. All trail segments have been groomed - both north and south. Excellent track is set with good coverage everywhere. There is a short segment of the south trail where it crosses the power line area where the Enbridge pipeline construction is occurring that is unable to be groomed due to minimal snow coverage after all the machinery work. Simply remove your skis and walk across - only about 75 feet.

We received 4" of snow last night and I groomed the north trail. Today John Elliot groomed the south side. Trails turned out excellent. Should have some of the best skiing of the year.

Overnight we received about 5" of light fluffy snow. All trail segments were groomed this morning. Almost all bare spots are gone - only a few thin segments remain.

A few spots had pine needles, leaves exposed but overall the trail is in good shape. The dusting of 1" or so helped too. This report was for the north section, I didn't get to the south section.

Washburn north and south trails have been groomed. The new Ginzu groomer set a beautiful track where there was enough snow, which I’d say was probably 85-90% of the trail. There are thinner areas where it was either windswept or a denser canopy. I'm planning to go skiing in the morning and see how it is. Had to remove four chainsaw-worthy trees, plus several smaller in the hand-removal size.
