The North sections were groomed a couple of days ago. Today the South sections were rolled. The deep, very dry snow needs to set up after rolling before we set a track. Once it warms up we will be back.

Skied the north side: Central Corridor - Cut-thru - East Leg. Thank you for rolling the trail and then setting the classical ski track! The ski trail is getting firm as more skiers are out there. Very nice and so beautiful with snow on the trees. Happy Trails:).

After about 18" light fluffy snow the whole north trail was rolled yesterday. It was groomed today and set a nice deep track. It may take some skiers to firm the track but we should have some of the best skiing of the season with a nice thick base.

Fresh snowfall atop some earlier set tracks in the week. We beat the groomer this time. There was some vegetation, but still a good time.

We had about 4" snow. Did the north trail to see how a groom would take. It did a pretty good job but there are some areas with grass poking up on the trail. Not very much of a base but it is skiable.

With most of the prior snow melted, I rolled the north section. There really isn't much snow, however, and in many areas there is a lot of vegetation exposed. May be moderately successful skate skiing. No track set.

While there is not a lot of snow, we used the roller on all trail segments. There is insufficient snow cover to set a track at this time. Even with the roller, there is vegetation sticking through. But for those who skate ski, this is a rare opportunity on the Washburn trails to skate before the classic track is set.
