[ Trails Open: All, B skis ]
Skied this three times this week. They groomed this morning with about a half inch of new snow so the surface was pretty good. The back loop has some decent rolling hills even though it's only a couple miles long. On the far back if you take a right, or south, there's a hill there that rivals the Birkie hills for practicing on. The trails are all in pine plantations. Basically if you're close by, this is a good place for a workout.

Grooming
[ Trails Open: Most, B skis ]
Groomed the skate this morning. Pretty good snow coverage. Didn’t touch the classic tracks because of very limited snow and didn’t want to uncover the debris. Forgot to take pictures, but overall should be a solid day on the snow.

Trails are still skiable but are getting thin, very hard, and crusty in some places. Classic tracks are still there but have some bare spots and trail debris. Grooming plans: Skate deck will be touched early Saturday morning.

Got out around 5 tonight and skied mostly the back loops to the SE. Coverage was basically 100% besides the open area around the highway, but still traversable. The snow was definitely soft in about half the trails I was on, but all-in-all it was great considering the temperatures the last two days!

Firsthand: Freestyle
[ Trails Open: All, B skis ]
Good snow cover, only a couple thin spots, drifting on the open areas; filling some of the classic tracks. Trail is a bit thin as you cross a gravel road between the front loop and the back. Overall, very good day skiing.

Skated the Coloma xc ski trails today. Only ran into two other people out there skiing. Trails are groomed for stride and skate. I used my good skis.

Trails look good. Skate deck and classic track are set. Could be conditions for good skis but hard to judge in the dark.

Afternoon
Firsthand: Both
[ Trails Open: All, B skis ]
Skied both classic and skate. This is a sweet set of trails. They are well maintained with a nice variety of terrain. A few worn patches in the beginning for the classic. Skaters had no worries. If you pick up a map at the start you'll find it to be very useful.

Great conditions with only a few bare patches here and there. Classic tracks are also set. I used my good skis and had no issues.
New power line hill is a great addition for extra training. The main loop with the power line hill is about 4.5 miles.
