Firsthand: Classic
[ Trails Open: All, Good skis ]
Wonderful ski on a beautiful day. The classic track was good, but not yet great. Track was a bit uneven and soft in spots. Blue wax worked great. Sky was blue and there was plenty of bright white snow on the trees.

Grooming
[ Trails Open: Most, Good skis ]
Groomed the ski trail this morning, lots of downed trees and drifting made for slow going. Shoutout to Mason Linn from the ski team who did a couple laps on his snowmobile yesterday to help with packing the trail, making it much easier today. That said, the skate lane is pretty uneven in spots until the snow sets up, and there are drifts in spots that will slow you down. As soon as the snow sets up we will groom again and it should be much better. The classic track is in great shape and it's truly a winter wonderland out there right now. Did not groom the two advanced spurs, will let the snow settle a bit first. The parking lot is not plowed yet so you will need to park on Hwy 2 or go up to Fairgrounds Rd.

Grooming
[ Trails Open: All, B skis ]
Groomed all ski trails, it was hard to penetrate the base so there are some grooves in the trail from the snowmobile skis but better than it was.

Firsthand: Classic
[ Good skis ]
We classic skied Erkki Harju today and were disappointed. The good news is the tracks were debris free, full coverage, no ice and fast. The bad news is they were very shallow, all the corners and probably 40% of the rest were skied out or just not there anymore. The skate deck was hard packed, "scary" on the downhills, uneven, and very rutted. If you are an avid skier and in the area, go for it, otherwise there are many other places that are groomed very well right now.

Groomed all trails today. Skate deck should firm up nicely. Classic tracks are set and should also firm up nicely.

Grooming
[ Trails Open: All, B skis ]
Groomed all trails Friday. There was enough snow to set classic tracks. Snow is light and fluffy with an icy base beneath. Skiers I encountered said it was great! Weather was cold and windy.

Groomed again today after the snow from yesterday. Great skiing at the moment, hopefully any warm up won't set us back again!

Grooming
[ Trails Open: All, Good skis ]
Groomed all trails and set a classic track. The skate lane is pretty good and the classic track is ok but did not set super well because of the hard packed snow, it's all definitely skiable though so get out and enjoy!

[ Trails Open: All, B skis ]
The ski trails have been groomed and tracked since the last snow, and the tracks have been used enough to have some wear. We expected soft and sticky conditions with the above freezing temperatures, but it was actually very fast. A snowmobile had driven on the skate part of the trail up to the first turn-off but had stayed off the tracks and seemed to have caused minimal damage. Trails are fully covered and I recommend B skis only because of some small plants sticking up through the tracks.

Grooming
[ Trails Open: Most, B skis ]
Groomed Tuesday. The trail is definitely skiable both skate and classic but bring B skis, lots of small twigs on the trail from windstorm and quite a bit of drifting on the 5K by the Fairgrounds. What we really need is more snow.
