Wonderful. Bright blue sky. The tops of the birches were golden in the late afternoon sun. Classic track was great. The only ice was in the parking lot.

Generally really good conditions, a bit bumpy in spots but no bare ground. The 2 advanced loops are not groomed. Finished grooming at noon today.

Great skiing today inTwo Harbors! Snow is soft (after 16" it takes time to compact). But is in excellent condition. Classic skied with some Terva, as we were getting some real fluffy flakes. Everything open. Tracks pretty good, but since snow is so soft, it's easy to glide out. Saw moose tracks in the back loop.

Grooming
[ Trails Open: All, Good skis ]
We had 16" of snow Sunday All trails, except the 2 advanced loops, are groomed for skate and tracked for classic skiing. Excellent conditions just a bit soft yet as it is hard to get this much snow packed at one time. We have a young moose that seems to have taken up residency along and on the trail.
